AI/ML/LLM Engineer

Desired Experience:
- Experience with deploying large-scale models, MLOps, and specific platforms like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or commercial cloud AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI).
- Previous history working as an AI/ML engineer at top-tier commercial tech companies (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon).
- Previously worked on or led projects for government agencies.
We're looking for a highly skilled Lead AI/ML/LLM Engineer to drive our technical capabilities in emerging technologies for federal government clients. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions, from concept and design to deployment and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in both commercial tech and government-facing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale AI/ML and LLM-based solutions.
Work with our team to translate complex government requirements into technical architectures and system designs.
Develop and manage end-to-end MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Stay ahead of industry trends, research new technologies, and assess their applicability to federal use cases.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
Required Background & Expertise:
5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a focus on deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs).
Experience with major AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
Proven track record of deploying and managing models in a production environment, specifically within cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure AI/ML).
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions in a secure and compliant environment.
