Blueprint Creative Group runs the marketing and advertising for a state public health campaign and seeks Community Outreach Associates in regions across the state to build and strengthen the local relationships that make our campaigns credible, and to be our eyes and ears on the ground.
What you will do
What you will do
- Build and maintain relationships with community, faith, and neighborhood organizations, local health departments, and funded grantees in your region.
- Represent Blueprint at community gatherings and, when activated, meet with grantees and local partners.
- Share rural community insights with the program team: what messages resonate locally, which messengers and channels a community trusts, and where an in person effort works better than advertising.
- Support outreach that reaches dispersed rural residents, and report back clearly on what happened and what you learned.
- You live in and know a rural Tennessee community or region.
- Comfort meeting people, representing a program professionally, and speaking plainly about health services.
- Reliable, organized, and a clear communicator who reports back on time.
- Willing to travel up to one to two hours within your region for outreach and events.
- Experience in community health, outreach, organizing, faith or community work, or local events is a plus.
- Regional and as-activated: you are part of a statewide pool, called on when there is outreach or an event in your area.
- Tennessee based, with a travel radius of about one to two hours.
- Reports to the Community Outreach Manager.
